Face Mask Apple Apricot DIY Skincare
At a glance: This mask combines thinly peeled red apple peels with thickly peeled, firm apricots. It is prepared fresh, applied once a week, and provides a nourished, revitalized skin feeling – without cosmetic promises of healing.

What makes the mask special?

The combination of apple peel and apricot pieces provides a creamy consistency with a mild fruity scent. The goal is a fresh, nourished appearance of the skin after a short exposure time. Without perfume and without preservatives – therefore, always prepare fresh and apply immediately.

Ingredients & Preparation

  • 1 medium-sized red apple (not sour), peel thinly removed
  • 4 firm apricots (not soft), peeled approx. 1.5 cm thick; do not use the soft area around the pit
  • Very little water for steaming
  • Pot with lid, fork or spoon for mashing

Recipe: Step by Step

1) Steam

Place apple peels and thick apricot pieces with little water in a small pot, close the lid, and steam on low heat for approx. 5 minutes until a pulp forms.

2) Mash

Mash thoroughly with a fork or spoon until the mixture is homogenous. Add water drop by drop if necessary – the consistency should not be too watery.

3) Cool

Let the pulp cool to lukewarm.

4) Apply

Apply thinly to forehead, nose, and face with two fingers, without pressure. Avoid the eye and lip areas.

5) Leave on & Remove

Leave on for 20–30 minutes. Rinse with water, gently pat dry.

Application & Frequency

Apply the mask once a week, for a total of maximum three times per month. Always prepare the mixture fresh and do not store it.

Skin Safety & Compatibility

  • Patch Test: Before the first application, test a small amount in the crook of your arm for 24 hours.
  • Sensitive Skin: In case of redness, burning, or tightness, rinse immediately and discontinue use.
  • Fruit Acids: Natural fruit components can make the skin slightly more sensitive to the sun. After application, pay attention to sun protection during the day.
  • Do not apply to scratched, irritated, or broken skin.
  • Supplementary: This DIY application is a skincare routine and does not replace dermatological advice or therapy.
