Product Detail
Prof Saracoglu Chestnut Honey is obtained from chestnut forests in the Eastern Marmara region (Turkey) and the Black Sea region. The honey is harvested from beehives placed during chestnut blossoming. The chestnut blossoming period is short, and careful attention is paid to maintaining the chestnut content in the honey. As a result, the chestnut flower (Fabaceae, Castanea sp.) content in the honey can range from 85% to 91%. The obtained honey is recognized by the relevant laboratories through analysis.
Preparation technique
The honeycombs removed from the beehives are processed into extracted honey in tents set up inside the apiary. The extracted honey is filled into cans and sent to the processing center. After accreditation by the laboratory, the accepted honey is heated here to 40 degrees and passed through coarse filters to remove honeycomb wax and other particles. In this state, the bottling process is complete.

Introduction of Use
Consume 1 dessertspoon of Prof Saracoglu Chestnut Honey, once a day, 1 hour after breakfast.
For children over 1 year old, 1 tablespoon once every other day.
Store in a cool and dry place. Do not expose to direct sunlight. A temperature above 45°C and bright light reduce diastase values and increase HMF values.
As it is a natural product, it may crystallize. It can be dissolved in 45°C hot water or consumed in its natural form.
