Product Detail
Prof Saracoglu Strained Highland Honey comes from the Sivas / Zara Gürlevik Dağı region (Turkiye). Thanks to the high altitude of about 1800 meters, many plant species are endemic there. As the region is untouched by agricultural pesticides due to its pristine nature, it allows for healthy honey production. Our beekeepers monitor the agents and dosages they use to combat bee diseases and conduct residue analyses of the final product to confirm that no residues are present.
Preparation technique
The honeycombs taken from the beehives are processed into strained honey in tents set up in the apiary. The strained honey, bottled in jars, is sent to the processing center. After accreditation by the laboratory, the accepted honey is heated to 40 degrees and passed through coarse filters to remove honeycomb wax and other particles. At this stage, the bottling process is complete.

pH value: 3.94
HMF value: 5.3 mg/kg

Introduction of Use
Consume 1 dessert spoon of strained highland honey, once daily 1 hour after breakfast.
For children aged 2-6, 1 teaspoon should be taken once every other day.
Store in a cool and dry place. Do not expose to direct sunlight. A temperature above 45°C and bright light reduce diastase values and increase HMF values.
As it is a natural product, it may crystallize. It can be dissolved in 45°C hot water or consumed in its natural form.
