Propolis - A Drops Food Supplement 20 ml. (Ethanol Based)
What is Propolis?
Propolis is a resinous substance that worker bees collect from the leaves, stems, buds, etc. of plants in order to protect the food inside the hive, the larvae and themselves from various pathogenic microorganisms and viruses. The bees form propolis by subjecting this substance they have collected to a biochemical change with the enzymes they secrete from the glands located on their heads.
How Should Propolis Be Consumed?
Propolis, in the state in which it is first collected (in the raw propolis state), contains various external substances and beeswax. The primary reason for this is that it is extremely sticky and is obtained by scraping it from traps or hives. Consuming it in this state (in the raw propolis state) is not recommended because it causes losses in the incorporation of the beneficial contents into the human body and because of the presence of foreign substances that mix in while it is being collected by scraping. Instead, consuming it in separated extract form will be more advantageous.
What Do We Offer You?
As can be seen , many different inputs affect the quality of the final product. For this reason we handle each stage separately.
1) Raw material: We use only raw propolis of domestic production, so that, leaving no room for any doubt, we both support the beekeepers of our country and begin the work with obtaining a quality raw material. The raw materials we procure are analysed and classified, so that we prevent regional differences in content.
2) Solvent type: We use only solvents suitable for human health, so that we produce without using any preservative, colourant or flavouring.
3) Technique: Our work on this subject continues without pause. In order to obtain more successful results with each passing day, we both continuously control and advance our product quality through university and laboratory studies and partnerships. With these partnerships we keep the phenolic compounds contained in our products under follow-up by carrying out quantitative analyses.
4) Propolis ratio: Like the example of sugar dissolving in water, propolis also dissolves in solvents up to a certain level. In Prof Saracoglu propolis, we take this ratio forward up to the point where the solvent is saturated with propolis. At present, production is carried out over a propolis amount in the band of 20%.
Why Can Sensory Differences Such as Colour and Taste Occur Between Our Products?
Depending on the production period and region of the raw material worked with, many points, from the solvent technique to the product's exposure to light, give rise to changes in colour and taste. While preparing Prof Saracoglu propolis, the basic matter is to present it to you without using auxiliary substances to fix the colour, smell and taste, without compromising the quality of the final product.
